How I can help

As someone who has trained as a counsellor and psychotherapist, I am able to offer support in different ways. Counselling tends to focus on day-to-day issues triggered by external events and is generally shorter in duration. Psychotherapy can look at deep-rooted, chronic issues, and the impact of internal difficulties. Work is often open-ended and longer term.

With either approach I will aim to help you gain an understanding of whatever is troubling you; to identify what may be preventing you from living your life to its fullest potential. We will then consider what changes may be needed to achieve this.

I have supported previous clients to successfully address their concerns in a supportive and practical way. Talking in a safe and confidential environment can assist you to improve your situation and emotional health.
